Workshop – Webcams – video conferencing and beyond
Steve Cutting will lead this workshop, which will be “hands on” using cheap and simple technology to support communication within and across schools. You will be able to link webcams across the venue, and consider the impact this technology might have in the primary environment.
The drivers and software for Windows XP will be available for download below, and you will need your laptop to support the activities.

Microsoft Netmeeting – download to desktop and follow these instructions:
Right click on the icon, and select “properties”
Click on the tab labelled “Compatability”
Tick the box next to “Run this program in compatability mode for”
and from the drop-down menu select “Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5)”
Click apply.
If it asks to replace newer files with older versions, click on “No” or “No to all”.
